These are the kinds of fences I'm seeing a lot of right now, fencing around baseball fields. It's baseball season after-all! That's my Braden up to bat. He and Dalton are on the Greenfield Red Sox while their older brother, out there coaching 3rd, is on the Greenfield Braves. Christian likes to help coach his little brothers' team in between his own games and practices. This game was played at Cloverdale Elementary school last week. We lost but better luck next time boys!
Linking up with Friday Fences!
Have a great weekend :)
Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out the events here!
i could almost hear the bat make contact. :)
ReplyDeleteNice shot of your son! This is a two-for-one photo!
ReplyDeleteYep! Watched a young man yesterday taking batting practice with some kind of stand with a ball attached to the end of what looked like a rubberized arm.
ReplyDeleteOh how I remember these days I would not trade the memories of those fences for anything. :) B
ReplyDeleteNice shot, go Red Sox and Braves.
ReplyDeleteLucky guys to have a mom out watching their games!
ReplyDeleteAwwww so sweet! Great action shot! I miss going to my 8yr old grand daughters BB.games...she decided she would rather be on a swim team this year!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fine job of getting his swing at an interesting point. Interesting team names too.
ReplyDeleteHope he hits one out of the park and over the fences! But in the good way... and not a foul ball. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat picture for Friday's Fences! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a powerful image. Almost forgot to look at the fence. Lol
ReplyDeleteSo cute - really takes me back to when my guys were little and I spent LOTS of time at the ball field.
ReplyDeleteNow that fence is truly needed. I'm always ducking from the line drives.
ReplyDeleteI have spent so much time at ballparks with 3 brothers and then my son. Great memories. Christian sounds like an excellent young man!
ReplyDeletefence or not, this is a really good shot. I love the action and the colors. The boy is just right. :)
ReplyDeletelooks like he's doin a great job swingin that bat! =)
ReplyDeleteLooks like that fence could be a bit higher the way that child is swinging the bat! Great shot.

Funny, this is the most common fence around these days. Baseball and soccer are here!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot of pure summer delight.
ReplyDeleteDarryl and Ruth :)
Chain link fences are probably the least attractive but you showcase the subject very well in your photo.Baseball is such great fun. I checked out some older posts on your blog and I really like it. I'll be back to comment on some of the older posts when I have more time. I hope you keep participating in the Friday My Town Shoot Out.
ReplyDeletewonderful where alike is possible.
ReplyDeleteplease have a good sunday you all.
Good mom! No matter how old the kids are, they need their fans, aka parents, in the stands. Great summertime shot.
ReplyDeleteI can hear the crack of the bat! Love your shot! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had a very rough week.

ReplyDeleteA reminder that sometimes fences are there to protect our faces from softballs! :-) I know you are proud of your players!
ReplyDeleteLove the "hitting for the fences" action shot. Great to see you on the Friday shootout. As a 12 year resident of Salem, VA -- I will certainly be following your blog. I used to be the director of Mount Regis Center.
ReplyDeleteha, small world isn't it?!! nice to meet you :)
DeleteHey, this looks familiar! I did Little League shots the last two days. Love your shot. Your son has nice batting form.
