Farm Animals Behind Good Fences

  3. Nice photos, that rooster is the father of the chicks that I am raising, he has attacked the people who feed him. The horses are for sale as the new oxen will replace them for pulling the wagon. They say that a farm of that period would not likely have a team of draft horses and oxen. The pigs are Ossabaw Island pigs and were left there in the 1500s by the Spanish so are an example of an early breed that would have been available.

  4. I've never been to that farm museum so I should go. Seems they have a lot of interesting things/animals to see and a lot of neat fences.

  24. The chickens / roosters / hens (forgive me, I just don't know) :) are my favorite. What a variety of textures and creatures today. They are simply wonderful, sharp and everything so colorful.
