The Battle of Belleau Wood exhibit

On Friday afternoon Nick decided for us all to get up early Saturday morning and go see the Marine Corps Museum. He's been wanting to see it badly for some time now. Wow, it is really an incredible museum! We spent about 5 or 6 hours and still didn't get a chance to see it all...we'll make another trip up, maybe in the spring.

Visit the museum's website HERE and CLICK HERE for more on the battle and a virtual tour of the exhibit.

  6. I can't tell if this is outside, or if it is a trick of the eye and really all inside. The murals are wonderful! Wish I could go, maybe I will one day! After all, under two hours away!

  14. That farm scene reminds me of work by Prairie School artists. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
