Today I am thankful for coffee...strong coffee! It's about 5:30 in the morning and I just returned a little bit ago from dropping Ashlyn off at the airport. She is travelling with a friend to Frisco, Texas to see her JMU Dukes battle it out in the National Championship game! The game is Saturday so the girls will have a little time for sightseeing around Dallas....Now, more coffee!

Yes! I'm thankful for coffee everyday (I say as I sit on my train groggily drinking coffee - hoping to wake up before arriving in the city) good luck to you daughters team!
ReplyDelete...I'll stick with Diet Pepsi
ReplyDeleteI lived in Dallas for about four years. That was a long time ago, but it's a nice city ... she'll have a good time. Especially if her team wins!
ReplyDeleteAlways thankful for coffee!
ReplyDeleteNothing like an early morning to get the blood flowing.
ReplyDeleteI like the variety of architecture.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is VERY important here. We can't function very well without it :) Sometimes you just need a pot as big as the one in your cover photo above :)
ReplyDeleteCoffee is ESSENTIAL! LOL! Amanda and Jerry lived in Frisco before they moved to Roanoke for several years. Lots of good memories there! Hope Ashlyn has a wonderful time while she is visiting there!
ReplyDeleteLove the juxtaposition. :) blessings ~ tanna
That is EARLY. I think I would just give in and take a nap! Oh, these poor buildings really need fixing up. Even just new paint and windows.
ReplyDeleteSo glad they're able to go. Feel for you, I don't do early well at all.
ReplyDeleteVery cool city shot!
ReplyDeleteI love that church spire that is included in this.
ReplyDeleteAhh, the loving things we do for our children! Yeah for coffee!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured with shades of coffee!
ReplyDeleteSeems all of a sudden in my life coffee keeps me from sleeping good. I always heard as we age our body changes.
ReplyDeleteI love drinking coffee also, straight up no cream or sugar
Guess I will start limiting myself to one cup a day (darn)
I hope the weather is good for the weekend! And yes, a good cup of coffee is the ticket! Hugs, Diane
