Willy Nilly Friday 5 No. 113

Market Street Walkway . Roanoke

Sorry I'm late for Willy Nilly today...lack of sleep from the day before and first day back at school = wiped out and fell asleep! Here we go:

1) Like I said we went back to school yesterday...our Christmas break is over...I enjoyed it...over too quick...as always...

2) On Tuesday the boys and I went and saw Passengers in 3D...it was good...we all liked it...

3) On Wednesday I took Ashlyn out shopping to get her some things for her Dallas trip...we had lunch and shopped...it was nice spending the day with just her...something we don't get to do too often anymore!

4) We are supposed to get some snow tonight...maybe a couple of inches...doesn't seem like the weathermen really know and have been all over the board with the forecast...

5) Nick got me an Ancestry DNA test for Christmas...I am really excited to get my results back...If you have never noticed before I have a genealogy blog HERE ...I need to get back in it...it has been a while!

Well that is my 5 this week and I hope you will join in too! Post 5 randoms, link back and visit others! Have a great weekend!

  4. I always used to hate it when the school holidays were over too Tanya, must admit I was probably the only mum who did, most couldn't wait for their kids to go back to school ☺ You captured the shot of the walkway from a fab angle with the mountains in the background.

  5. I did the Ancestry DNA test and loved it. My husband did it and found out he was of Norwegian descent and not German, as originally thought. They could totally make a commercial out of him.

  6. You are right about the weathermen. They certainly missed it yesterday. Now three inches tomorrow. Love this picture! On the left is the real city, and on the right is a glass city! A mirror image.

  7. Always like the way those glass wall reflections create alternative realities.

  8. seem like the weathermen really know - it happens all the time, or is differed by a day or two.

  14. The schools in Bend and surrounding area have had so many closed days for snow now, they are worried about the kids making them up! Love your Roanoke shots! I am happy to be back, and hope to share more of my area once all this snowing is done! It started up again this morning. We had a bologna sandwich and some rice for breakfast! :-) Rations are getting slim!
