Signs, Signs & A Good Fence Along Brughs Mill

Stopped over at the Heritage Market that I told you about HERE to pick up some bread and lunch meats. Then noticed Happy Mart still had gas for:
Yup, $2.55...then I saw Ashlyn's boyfriend there too..and he told me he had just seen Christian ha, small town living...

So then I took the scenic route home:
Brughs Mill Road..

Today I have my dentist appointment at my new dentist. It's just a cleaning, but still, blah!

Linking with Signs, Signs & Good Fences

I hope to see you back tomorrow for some Willy Nilly fun!

  3. I like that I see people I know when I go to the grocery store or gas station, but I'm not fond of the gossip. Sometimes I miss the anonymity of the city. You sure live in a beautiful area.

  4. How can you miss the first view of the sign, looks like its in the middle of the road. Our gas is creeping back up, $2.69 yesterday.

  5. Your scenes are very reminiscent of the Lake District over here... good luck with the dentist!

  7. I know the feeling about the dentist, i had a teeth cleaning this week too. I like your gas prices, they have been just as good around here, although last time I filled up we were back to 2,89! Still under three dollars so that's good. Your photos are all lovely, and I'm wondering, did you get any snow yet?

  14. I love the scenic route shot, I may have said this before but if I didn't know any better I'd of thought you lived in the middle southern area of BC Canada :-)...

  15. Yup I remember when I lived in a small town in Central Africa, couldn't keep a secret there :) I agree about the dentist, blah! but more because of the exorbitant cost.. what's that all about, than the pain :)

  17. Does this Mill Road have an actual mill somewhere? We have Mill roads, but often the mill that used to be there is long gone. We do have quite a few mills though. The ones that are open often have shops in them or give tours. What happened to your old dentist and how did you find this one?

  19. I'm glad it's you and not me going to the dentist...I'm a white knuckle patient! Aren't we glad to see those lower gas prices?!

  21. With those gas prices I could afford to drive over to have a closer look at your gorgeous last photo. Oh dear, I'll need a boat or plane ride too :).

  22. I would LOVE small town life! I'd love running into people I know or relatives. The only people we know here except for our own daughter, SIL and grandson, are the people at church. I love them all dearly, but I don't think I've ever run into any of them anywhere, except the pastor once at Walmart two years ago! I'm from a small town, and miss that feeling of community!

  23. Wow lucky you with $2.55 for gas, the cheapest it's been here is, $3.04.
I'm not sure I'd like small town life where everyone seems to know everyone's business. - Neat fence find, looks as if the mailbox or paper box got knocked over.
