Rubbish Tuesday - Fire Station No. 1

Built in 1906, modeled after Philadelphia's Independance Hall, Fire Station No. 1 served as one of the longest continuously running fire stations in the state of Virginia running from 1907 through 2007. For more info, CLICK HERE

  4. Such a lovely, stately building. The doors are so narrow too. We have a few old stations like this that have now become Coffee Houses!
