Abandoned Main Street III

Pamplin City . Appomattox County

This is the 2nd building, next door to yesterday's building. And yes, I noticed the number plaques being new too. I don't know why that is. Perhaps something to do with the revitalization efforts? I love that colored glass over the door.

  1. Oh, my goodness, Tanya. I've just caught up with your posts about these beautiful old buildings. I sure hope that the new numbers are a sign that help is on the way for them. I hate when historic structures are so neglected. Crossing my fingers for them! blessings ~ tanna

  3. It's always so sad to see old abandoned buildings that have many stories to tell.

  6. This is the worst poor building yet! Yet...the pretty glass and the numbers...strange. Maybe they are putting in some rides and making it into Ghostland.

  9. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they revitalized these beautiful old homes. Your photos are great Tanya. Keeping my fingers crossed that something good will come back to these abandoned buildings.

  10. Another great old building! It is a little strange that they put new address plaques on them. Perhaps it's a building code thing.
