Wingless Takes Flight

Wilson Hughes Gallery. 117 Campbell Ave SW . Roanoke . 24011

This wall on the side of the gallery is pretty awesome...all different work from different artists. I knew this one had to be a Toobz Muir painting when I saw it. His work is so unique. You might remember some of his stuff I've shown you HERE

About this one, taken from his website:
"Wingless takes flight"

Concept: Children teaching little birds how to take flight before they realize that they already have the power to leave the nest. 2010

Linking up with Monday Murals & Mersad's Through My Lens

I'll show you more of the wall next week!

  3. To be honest, even with your explanation, I still don't understand it, but then there is not a lot of 21st century art that I do like.
    Wishing you a wonderful week!
