Blue Ridge

This is the view from my driveway this morning...it's a rainy-ish grey day but look at that red tree blooming over there to the right would ya?!! Every day brings a little more color! That mountain straight ahead is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway runs right through there...it's a pretty way to get places!

November Theme Day - Out of Focus

I'm late to the party I know! For anyone that knows me personally knows that I am notoriously late ;) ...anyways, I had nothing planned for the theme and have been on the go all day long...it has been a dreary, cooler day and the mountains are covered in fog...these are the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are "out of focus"...I've shown you a clearer shot HERE

Our World Tuesday - A Rainbow

Last Thursday the boys had a football scrimmage. They played for about 20 minutes then it got postponed because of lightning. We had to wait 30 minutes without seeing any lightning before they could resume. They came back out, played 1 more play, the game got called because of more lighting...came home to this view! Those are the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
