ReplyDeleteGreetings from formerly Stasiland, I've grown up there...
...long ribbon of steel.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this! Both quote ans picture. I do have a special relationship with trains, dating back to my childhood. My uncle worked on a train and I would always watch for him when a train came by our house. He died suddenly, very young. So trains and I have a loving, yet mournful relationship. Your picture has a strange and powerful beauty.
ReplyDeleteTerrific perspective! I miss the sound of trains- the freight trains pass to the south of where I live, too far away to hear.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cool perspective of train cars - I say as I sit on the train heading home. I usually only see them from the inside - never from the top!
ReplyDeleteVery cool perspective on this shot!
ReplyDeleteTrains whether it is real or in photo brings joy...
ReplyDeletecool image! You were there at the right moment. Love the shadows falling over the two other tracks :)
ReplyDeleteI love that!
