Burt Reynolds' Tara
The party we went to on Saturday was held at the pool at Tara. This mansion, which once belonged to Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson sits on the property in Loganville. Loganville is the next town over from Monroe, still in Walton Co. The house/land was for sale and bought and subdivided. I heard the house was put back on the market in 2006 but don't know if it's been sold.

Good grief - did they really manage to cram in every type of Greek pillar/column/frieze? Pretty impressive...!
ReplyDeletecette propriété est très belle. elle doit valoir cher.
ReplyDeletethis property is very beautiful. it must assert expensive.
Tanya,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Did you go inside?
I heard one time that Loni never let Burt see her without her make-up.
It looks like it was a lovely place for a party! Burt and Loni, now there is a blast from the past. Bet the conversation was lovely too... ; )
ReplyDeleteThe rumor is that these are your new digs.
ReplyDelete"Louis" knows the rumor is true because he started it himself!
wish I could buy it!! :)
ReplyDeleteDeborah, no we didn't go inside. The party was held at the community pool for the subdivision. The house is a separate property next door. The odd thing is, a church was built right next door to the house, on the other side. It practically sits on the house, it's so close!
ReplyDeleteHa ha Louis La Vache, I wish!
Burt was actually filming in Ramsey a couple of months back. That's some place they had.
ReplyDeletei livee in this neighborhood:)
ReplyDeleteOMG! What a magnificent looking Home! Must be truly awesome to see. There is no way on this earth that I could afford such a place, but what would I do with all that space and fancy. Must be nice to afford something like that! I'd, also, like to see what's inside.
