Congratulations!
Well she did it! Ashlyn won her a spot as the Vice President of Membership with FCCLA this past weekend. That's my baby girl in the black dress. The other girls went with her but were competing in a different event. Since I wasn't there, I had to lift this photo off her Facebook, lol.
Today I am going on a field trip to Lynchburg with Braden and Dalton's class. We are going to the Children's Museum. Should be fun!

BRAVO, je ne sais pas trop ce que cela représente, mais elles ont l'air très heureuses
ReplyDeleteBRAVO, I do not know what that means, but they look very happy
Way to go, Ashlyn! I'm glad you are a resourceful Mom and found a photo to share with us. She looks so pretty and sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteNo dress shopping for me - tonight my son is getting ready for his DC-NYC trip & we went to Tilly's - jeans, black & 1 white t-shirts (no skulls allowed), black pants, black pinstriped shirt, black sweatshirt...but he did pick a green/yellow/black/gray swim trunks.
Congrats from Maryland.
ReplyDeletePS: I am a transplant from Georgia.
She really looked nice in the dress, Tanya. I know you are very proud of her! Yay

Hooray, Ashlyn. May this be a great experience for her. She's so lovely and looking so much happier than she did when you caught her up to her ears in studies several weeks ago. Have a fun time today. Hope we get to see some photos of the adventure.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do grow up fast... then they leave home, but, they come back and bring other people with them (husbands, wives, grandkids...)
ReplyDeletePretty girls always make a nice picture. I had to laugh at the comment from Robert Hill. Funny but true!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so pretty. Boy, moving didn't throw her one bit, did it? That's fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWell done Ashlyn! Cool photo.
ReplyDeleteTanya - rather yuou than me with all those kids. Take some headache tablets with you! Lol :)
Proud Mama! Congratulations Ashlyn! We need strong and beautiful women out there and in this day and age, it's wonderful to see photos like this on FB and not of girls having their head in the toilet.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!
Congratulations to Ashlyn! I know you are proud Tanya!
ReplyDeleteWell done Ashlyn! It was worth the effort huh? Have a good time at the childrens' museum Tanya and boys! - Dave
ReplyDeleteCongrats for you and Ashlyn.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. She is certainly on the right path it seems. My "baby-girl" is world even though she is now married. They grow up fast, don't they?
