A picture a day from around the Roanoke, VA area.
Hope you had a super Mother's Day. It is celebrated in England in March. Love this shot...made me smile. Enjoy your coffee. I am having one too as I type :).
That photo made me smile, great image! Enjoy your coffee, I am heading for the coffee pot :)
Yep, authentic!
Nice shot Tanya! I had a great Mother's Day :)
Haha. The old needs the new. Hope your day was good also!
just too funny! :) hope YOU had a good mom's day!
Love the old/new juxtaposition. Yesterday my grandson was playing with his daddy's old castle legos and kept calling a catapult a cannonpult.
Hope you had a great Mother's Day too! Funny shot with the cannons. I guess I never think about them being moved. :)
That's worth a smile!
Congratulations on your daughter's graduation and pending enrollment at JMU! Excellent choices of schools. I know that was in another post !!
This is waaaaay to modern after the last shots!
Sorry, add an 'o' for me please! :-)
LOL! Isn't that how they moved cannons back in the day? :-)
Hahaha - aren't all Mondays blah - need more espresso? - or maybe it's just me...
I I hope your Mother's Day was good. Now, go get that expresso.
some how i don't think they did it like that in the olden days. but it sure does give me a laugh today. too funny! ( :i see someone say "expresso" above ... i don't think i have ever had a real one. that sounds delicious.
Such a contrast! The ghost of an army quartermaster is wondering where one of those ATVs was a hundred and fifty years ago when he really needed it.
I like his quad.
You could almost put a sling on that one and carry it over your shoulder. Kind of silly actually.
That is so funny!I hope you had a great Mother's day with your family.XO
If the Army had some ATVs to move their canon perhaps the Apache would not have won the battle. Interesting behind the scenes photo.
The new way is probably a lot quicker and easier than the old way!
