This is my drive to school in the mornings...so scenic! Along Mountain Pass Road, Botetourt County
In light of yesterday's tragic event that took place here, I thought this sign was fitting. So much evil in the world.

Hello, you do have a pretty scenic drive. It is so sad to hear the latest news. My prayers go out to the victims and their families. Wishing you a happy day!
ReplyDeletewhat an enjoyable view for your ride to work!!!
ReplyDeletethat tragedy hit so close to home yesterday, what a terrible shame. 3 lives lost, 3 families that will never be the same again. parents losing their children, by a deeply troubled man. mental health is really falling by the wayside in this country, we need to dedicate more time and resources for the treatment of mental health!!!
What a nice drive to begin your day.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely ride. Yes, that was a terrible thing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful drive!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for the tragic event... so sad...
a horrific event, becoming far too common.
ReplyDeletehold the beauty in your heart and hope, too.
Yes such a tragic event but this drive to work looks lovely
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lovely drive and that fence is quite nice.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the sign but only if people let Him. Such a sad event indeed. I worry for the future of our country.
Such a tragedy. I feel so awful for the family and friends.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have that peaceful drive to school. We all need to feel peace in our lives these days.
The tragedies just keep coming, so we need more of these signs to get people thinking
ReplyDeleteLovely fences and roads! Great shot in your rear view mirror! Evil is rampant, I'm glad we have a Savior...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous country road!
ReplyDeleteA tragic event, for so many people.
ReplyDeleteThe murderer stopped not that far from here and shot himself. I thought of you when I heard about it... hoped you were not watching the newscast when it happened. How awful!
ReplyDeleteNicely tranquil!
ReplyDeleteI think I have been on that road as my great uncle lived over there I believe, their name was Saville, probably still some around that part of the county. Botetourt is one of the prettiest counties in the area.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely drive. I hope people can heal and learn from tragedy.
ReplyDelete~
Beautiful drive. And, yes, so appropriate.
ReplyDeleteI kind of liked being away--no internet, no news. The world was a more beautiful place--just like in your photos. Love the sign. Might be just the message someone needed to see.
