Walking under the bridge @ the Roanoke Star (Mill Mountain Star)...one thing I've noticed since moving here is that Roanoke just loves to have several different names for a thing, especially street names...anywho....
I was drawn to these little pretties...
Now in B&W...Kind of looks like a pretty little cake with frosting dripping down :) Or maybe I'm just hungry!
“Everything made by human hands looks terrible under magnification--crude, rough, and asymmetrical. But in nature every bit of life is lovely. And the more magnification we use, the more details are brought out, perfectly formed, like endless sets of boxes within boxes.”

Great photos, Tanya.
ReplyDeleteI really like that first photo. It's so well composed and very artsy. That's one you might wish to frame and hang!
ReplyDeleteYour bridge photo draws the eye right into it. Well found and documented.
ReplyDeleteDid someone say cake? ;) At first pass, I thought of icicles forming.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely with Lowell !
ReplyDeleteLove your composition in the first shot Tanya, save a slice of cake for moi :) :)
ReplyDeleteP.s. love your sky shot in last post, amazing formations in the clouds.
A bridge like that really appeals to me. Love how you photographed it. Nice job, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteThe bridge looks like it has been there a long time.
