Hi Tanya
ReplyDeleteA great, old farm house, but no one more live here?
or at least?
Greetings Sadie
Snow makes everything look nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. I see so many old farm houses when shooting barns.
ReplyDeleteI would hate to heat an old house like that, wait a minute, I do! I got the car dug out so I could go to a dental appointment yesterday. Of course no school here either, maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove these old houses, but man are they a bear to heat!!
ReplyDeleteAre you out and about? I am still stuck because of the icey conditions on my Bridge to Somewhere and all the area where we part our cars and the road getting up and out. If I was still teaching,I would be doing a Happy Dance”. I bet we are closed again tomorrow. There is just too much freezing over of the day’s melt for the buses to go out. Sometime it is NICE to get old and be at home :-)
ReplyDeleteThat house has great bones and would be something special restored!
ReplyDeleteIt looks quite stark among the snow.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr...it sure looks cold there! Saying hello from sunny, warm Naples, FL
ReplyDeleteLovely old farm house. We ended up with 30 inches of snow. School is out here too.
ReplyDeleteA bit of paint and hours of work will turn it into a nice and lovely home :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderfully stark photo of this cold, abandoned house. It looks quite lonely, and oh so cold.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty farmhouse.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those I really wish could talk. And can't imagine what it would cost to heat and cool.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely house. And I wish work was out tomorrow, lol, but no chance of that happening!!
ReplyDeleteThat ol' house looks right at home ensconced in the snow. Probably needs a bit of TLC, though.
ReplyDeletesweet old thing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great old place. Looks like they have plenty of firewood to stay warm. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteIt needs a little love :) We are back in session tomorrow with a 1-hour delay. Can't wait to see how that goes! lol
ReplyDeleteLove that house! Does anyone live there? You always find such interesting things to photograph!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya for sharing your snowy Virginia scene. Up in my neck of the woods we didn't get a flake! I hope that you will return again.
ReplyDeleteIt looks sp lost... would be like to living there...
ReplyDeleteSnow makes it pretty
That's a lovely design Tanya, a good solid farmhouse.. looks gorgeous in winter but lovely in fall too.
