This is Curves For Women located at 226 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Monroe. My daughter and I started working out there a couple of months ago. I also ended up getting a part time job there recently! I'm only there a couple of hours in the morning after the kids go to school so it works out good for me!
Guess what? We have "Curves" in France too. We have one in Montpellier. I have never been there (I think it opened earlier this year) but one of my good friends attends it.
ReplyDeleteCurves in South Africa as well - theres one very close to where I live actually.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do with all of that "stuff" inside of it? I dont recognize any of it. Looks like torture devices.
ReplyDeleteI know we have these in Geneva too. I love the very bright colors on the walls!
ReplyDeletec'est sympathique, et en plus tu peux maintenir ta forme (ce qui me fait penser qu'il va falloir que je fasse l'effort de retourner à la salle de gymnastique ;o) ).
ReplyDeleteis nice, and in addition you can maintain your form (which makes me think that I will have to make an effort to return to the gym ;o)).
I love the green. It looks great. We had one very close to us, but it closed. :-( I hope you're enjoying the job. Thinking of you (and Nick) today.
ReplyDeleteOne of our friends moved to Italy a while back and gave serious consideration to opening a Curves ... I like Oliver's comment where he used the phrase "maintain your form" ... My wife and I are long time member of the Greenville Racquet and Fitness club. Although my wife attends regularly I can not remember my last visit (frown).
ReplyDeleteMarie, that is neat! I wonder if it is any different than ours? I'd love to hear the soundtrack!
ReplyDeleteCraig, It's cool to hear that they are all over. This one is very close to me as well, within 5 minutes!
LOL Jim, yes, it's a torture chamber!
Kelly, I like the bright colors too!
Olivier, like Denton said, I like the way you say "maintain your form"!
Hi Stacy! I'm really starting to enjoy it. Well, actually the part I like is the working out with the ladies and socializing! I'm still intimidated by the sales spiel, ugh!
Denton, go with your wife, it's good for you! :)
Hey Chica,
ReplyDeleteMy camera is still down so I haven't posted anything...plus we are busy, busy, busy. what happened to the third blog? I have a link to you on my page. I clicked to read you today and got a message it was removed. Hope all is well in your world. You can e-mail me off line (melissa_wrght@yahoo.com) if you don't want to publish a comment online.
Hey Mel! I deleted it when I was messing with the html and became overwhelmed with the mess I made, lol. I thought it would be easier to just start over from scratch, but then didn't realize all my links were there till it was gone, ugh!
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't pay me to go there! :) I'm just way too lazy.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...I need to get back into the habit of working out!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to a gym, running around photographing does the trick, but if I did Curves would be a great choice. Just love the name.
ReplyDeleteI'll will be leaving for Connecticut in a few days... I hope to be able to to go to a gym there. I'm going to ask my friend Denise to visit your blog and tell you whether "her" Curves in Montpellier looks like yours :-)
ReplyDeleteGood for you for being active!
