The Fincastle Christmas Parade

So we braved the cold and went to the parade. I am so happy we did. Really I couldn't say no as Braden and Dalton kept coming to me and checking the time to make sure we'd make it to the parade by 2:00. How could I resist those two?

We had a great time. It's the perfect little hometown parade! We really didn't even freeze, too badly, although at one point I almost couldn't feel my nose! The kids got heaps of candy, fireman hats and got to see Santa, 2 times in one day!

Thanks Country Dew for giving me that extra little push to go :)

  2. This really captures the spirit of these small town Christmas parades (I was completely ignorant of them until 4 years ago) -- Big, strong men wearing Santa hats, and tinsel and bows on a tractor. You got it.

  5. It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm hoping eventually it gets warm enough here that we can go to the zoo and enjoy all the lights.

  11. I grew up in a town the size of a peanut... so we had teeny tiny parades when I was a kid.

  13. superbe une parade de noël, c'est très américain, malheureusement en France, j'en connais pas, j'aimerais tant que la ville d'Évry en fasse une.
