Yes... the 1950's were exciting and happier times. B&W was the perfect choice for your photo. I have also enjoyed reading some of Bill Bryson's books.

ReplyDeleteFine b&w photo with this traditional garage and truck. I like the Bill Bryson quote, but it also reminds me of the Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times."
ReplyDeleteIn some ways the 50s were fun for me. I got my first car, graduated from high school, did a year of college, joined the Navy, got married, moved across country, was told to get my Navy gear together as it looked like we were going to invade Cuba. The photo is so 50s!
