Which Way Did He Go?
It looks like this little bird went to get a bite to eat for his friend and when he returned, he couldn't find him. I can hear scratching inside the drain pipe as if there is a bird inside. The bird on the top of the house keeps looking down inside of it. I'm not sure if the bird purposely went in or fell in? And I don't know what to do to get him out. I hope he's ok!
The noise from the bird scratching around inside of the pipe is driving Daisy crazy. She keeps looking at it all perplexed!

I liked the photos for your last three blogs Tanya. Have been too busy to look. Hope that bird is OK. Enjoy spring and spring temperatures! - Dave
ReplyDeleteTell him to 'go towards the light'. HA! No, really, hope he makes it out.... could he have been trying to build a nest in there? Hmmm.

I hope the bird makes it out! That's sad that he might be stuck in there.
ReplyDeleteI hope he appeared in the end. Maybe there were some nice juicy worms in the pipe or perhaps they're building a nest in there..
ReplyDeleteOh no I hope he's OK! This would worry me to death!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to hear the end of this story! I hope the bird has come out of the pipe while I'm writing this...
ReplyDeleteHe's gotta be ok, you know me and birds.
ReplyDeletePoor Daisy, she must be wondering what is that noise and where is it coming from? I hope the birdie fines its way out of the drain pipe.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately you might need to get your hubby to climb on the roof and see if he can get the bird out. I had one in the chimney a few years ago; they don't go back out on their own, generally. Good luck with that.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I hope the little birdy makes it out.
ReplyDeletesad- that happened here before and there was nothing we could do.
ReplyDeleteWas there a happy end to the story?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how this story ended but I haven't heard the bird in there since a bit after taking the pictures, nor have I seen a bird perched near the opening. I hope he got out of there ok! I think I should look into putting something over the top to let the rain in and keep the birds out!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she was just looking for somewhere to nest and she headed off after awhile. Birds can get into and out of the darndest places! I love Daisy's expression - completely puzzled!!
