This little dude was on our porch recently. Check out the spiky little mohawk he's sporting. Not a clue what he is, I've never seen a bug like this....any guesses?
I like your name for him. He does look cool! Could he be some sort of stink bug? - I was laughing when I saw your photo come up next to mine on the recently updated blogs page. You posted a photo of an insect and I posted a sign that says, "Death to all insects!"
That's a fascinating critter - never seen one like it before! I agree with you that s/he looks pre-historic, and the name Sailback Dinosaur Bug really fits (but "Mohawk Dinosaur Bug" would fit too!) :-)
