I knew without even looking that you shot this at my favorite spot at Peaks of Otter. It is one dreamy spot to walk. Love the trail around the lake and then the walk up the Johnson Farm. genie PS....the black barn is in Rockbridge Baths. Go out west on 39 until you hit the little township of Rockbridge Baths. You will see the post office on the left and just up ahead on the right is there volunteer fire department. The black barn is right behind it. You are only 10 minutes from me at that point. genie
Agree with Don--those cat tails in the photo are a great frame to the rest of the scene--crystal clear water with just a bit of reflection and sparkle. Would love to see this same place at different times of the year.
A beautiful watery Wednesday shot. I like the cat tails(?) in the foreground with the highlights of sunlight on the water. Fine shot.
