This is the Crowder House in Fincastle built ca 1791. I've shown it to you before right here. It's for sale. It has been for quite some time. I remember going inside when it was a sort of coffee shop. You can purchase this sweet, historical log cabin for a measly $105,000! Is that crazy or what? Click here for the listing. And no, I'm not the selling agent nor do I get a commission, I just can't believe such an awesome little place is selling for such a little price! If only I had an extra hundred grand on hand!
The red brick building up on the right is the Kyle House. I've shown you William Kyle's grave right here and the steeple on the left belongs to the Fincastle Baptist Church which I gave you a glimpse of right here!

ReplyDeleteThere has to be a catch?! $105,000 does seem a snip for such a great looking little house!

A fine old place with interesting lighting. A good choice for this special day.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that amazing price, that would be unheard of through most major metro regions here in my corner of the woods! I love the idea of making this a coffee shop, I'm envisioning someone turning this into the cutest place:)
ReplyDeleteWow, wouldn't that be cool to buy it! It would make a cute little antique/crafty store! :)

ReplyDeleteHow very peaceful a sight. Thank you. Please have a good Thursday.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good price!
ReplyDeleteYes, it does seem like a low price, but many people would not want to live with their front door right on the street. I will pass, but will gladly visit when you buy it . . .
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place for a stroll.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little town! This would make a great antique shop! So many little shops are up for sale these days. Wish I had some money! xx
