Don't you just love old windows? I do too!

This is a serious door right?! I can't remember what this little building is. Must house something really important though!

I like the white/black combo on old houses. When I was little my mom made my dad paint our house black/white. I think the actual color was charcoal. I just remembered that! I also remember my dad arguing with her about the color, but alas, our house became white/charcoal ;)

Like a little fairy-tale cottage!

I love the glossy magnolia. Don't worry TexWis, I have more fences to particpate in your Good Fences linky :)

I'm linking up with Roan's Rubbish Tuesday today. Post something old and link up too! CLICK HERE for more old stuff!

I also want to share with you that I will be starting the Random 5 Friday linky up this Friday. I'm calling it Willy-Nilly Friday 5 because I didn't want to totally copy Nancy's meme and I like the word "willy-nilly" :) So come along and link up, post 5 random errr willy-nilly things and have fun! Hopefully my linky will work. Never done this before! The link up should start Friday morning @ 12:01 and run through Sunday, fingers crossed!

  2. I didn't find your link party button to put on my sidebar so I borrowed your little fairy cottage photo and made a temporary button. When you get the button you want, I'll change the one I made. :)

  11. Marvelous houses in Williamsburg. I particularly like that second to last one.

  12. I also love these old windows, and can't help but think about the craftsmen who build these with a small chest of wooden planes and other wood working tools. Their designs are timeless and often copied using machine power tools. Your second to last photo is stunning.

  18. I like those old windows, the kind that are not perfect, that have waves in them. They are big a flea markets too being made into art.

  19. I have been having issues with either blogger or the blogger, not sure which. Fortunately, everything seems to be back to normal this morning. Love all the old windows! This is my favorite style. Thanks for linking up! Looking forward to your Willy Nilly 5 on Friday!

  21. A nice series of pix, Tanya. It has been years since I was in Williamsburg. In New England, we have numerous old buildings with that original wavy glass. Nice, isn't it?
