This is a serious door right?! I can't remember what this little building is. Must house something really important though!

I like the white/black combo on old houses. When I was little my mom made my dad paint our house black/white. I think the actual color was charcoal. I just remembered that! I also remember my dad arguing with her about the color, but alas, our house became white/charcoal ;)

I am looking forward to your new party and will post it on my sidebar for others to see and maybe come join you.

I didn't find your link party button to put on my sidebar so I borrowed your little fairy cottage photo and made a temporary button. When you get the button you want, I'll change the one I made. :)

ReplyDeletelol i was testing my linky code!
DeleteWonderful collection, the black door reminds me of the old police station/jail here in Llandudno!
ReplyDeleteI definitely like old windows! In fact, I love old stuff of all kinds. :)
ReplyDeleteProbably the doors to the arsenal. Boom! :-)
ReplyDeleteI would really love to go there someday!!! Lovely window images of such a quaint area of our country!!!
ReplyDeletereally enjoying your post on colonial Williamsburg...
ReplyDeleteMarvelous houses in Williamsburg. I particularly like that second to last one.
ReplyDeleteI also love these old windows, and can't help but think about the craftsmen who build these with a small chest of wooden planes and other wood working tools. Their designs are timeless and often copied using machine power tools. Your second to last photo is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE old windows...especially if the glass has gone wonky!
ReplyDeleteI like to look at old windows, too. The little fairy cottage is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI personally love the door!
ReplyDeleteI really like the old windows.
ReplyDeleteI love the sight of all of these!
ReplyDeletebeautifull windows on the roof
ReplyDeleteI like those old windows, the kind that are not perfect, that have waves in them. They are big a flea markets too being made into art.
ReplyDeleteI have been having issues with either blogger or the blogger, not sure which. Fortunately, everything seems to be back to normal this morning. Love all the old windows! This is my favorite style. Thanks for linking up! Looking forward to your Willy Nilly 5 on Friday!
ReplyDeleteI like Colonial Williamsburg in general. The history, the architecture, the molasses cookies...:-)
ReplyDeleteThey all look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteA nice series of pix, Tanya. It has been years since I was in Williamsburg. In New England, we have numerous old buildings with that original wavy glass. Nice, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely picture perfect Tanya.
ReplyDeleteHi Tanya, I also love windows and doors and gorgeously gorgeous houses :D)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so nice :D)
I love and miss Williamsburg! So good to see these views of some of the houses. And, so glad you will be taking up the torch and starting Willy Nilly Fridays. Can't wait to tell my Mom. We both always enjoyed Nancy's Random Five.
