The downtown mall! It will be great to walk through there later this spring! Have you seen the freedom wall at the end? People can write anything they want on it.
OHHHH! i think then that the freedom wall is what i posted last week for good fences and signs...i thought it was a barricade for the construction behind it! now i'm going to have to research this! by the way, the balcony from yesterday is on the same side as the "freedom wall" and near it.
Such pretty photos. Many years ago, my husband and I treated my late parents with a trip to Monticello and Poplar Forest. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was spring! Thank you again for your kindness re the loss of our beloved dog. Mildred
BEautiful old brick and good to see what looks like is still a vital active downtown. Tanya , Tex forwarded your message and I'm so sorry you haven't been able to comment on FT-L. I am working on the problem with typepad... Didn't think it would be so hard. It's my fault, I have a wrong setting for people who have a Typepad profile and I can't seem to get rid of it. Sorry.
Love. love. love. seeing these beautiful old buildings!!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDelete"a warmer clime" certainly has a nice sound. Great street lamps that are very fitting for the environment. Lovely downtown area.
ReplyDeleteLove the old architecture and the brick sidewalks! You have more snow than we do,
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a bit of snow there. Sure it's gone now. Looks like some neat streets to stroll. Coffee shops?
ReplyDeleteOh you are teasing us with all this splendor! What beautiful buildings.
