A picture a day from around the Roanoke, VA area.
Very attractive stone building. With Easter just around the corner, flowers will be all the more popular.
I'm coming to Roanoke in April. Hope to see many of the places you have featured. I love the fonts on today's building.JanisGDP
We have a similar building here occupied by a florist...it is also very nice. Stone buildings are my favorite!
Oh I can just see all those lovely young people off to the prom with their buttonholes and corsages Tanya :)
It's a place with character.
if you are ever wanting to work for a florist, i would totally recommend it ... i have worked 3 different ones, loved every experience. so fun. as you say the busy holidays are a big learning experience. what i really enjoyed was going the extra mile for folks in their times of need. you see the happy times, the weddings, and dances. but you also get to comfort the ones during those sad times too ... funerals and other loss times in our lives. it is hard but you feel a certain moments of happiness to be there for every one. i miss it.
