This is one of my favorite photos! We were visiting Bennett Place in Raleigh and I was taking a picture of the little cabin when I was suddenly photo bombed by Dalton...I have tons of these photo bombs in my archives as the boys are always doing this to me! They crack me up!
It's 11:15 pm as I get this post ready...almost 2017, can you believe it?!

I love those little shoes...

Yesterday I showed you the bandstand, which has nothing to do with the surrender but had been moved to the property in the early 1900's...tomorrow I will show you around the yard :)

Built in 1916...moved to Bennett Place (Durham NC) in 1924.
The bandstand is great but I am also loving all those beautiful trees!
