SkyWatch Friday

Stormy skies through a weeping willow, my all time favorite tree! The weather was warm though so I took Braden and Dalton out for a walk around Cherry Blossom Trail after school. A couple of hours later the thunder storms came causing tornado watches and warnings all over the area.

To see skies from all over the world, visit SKYLEY!

  5. hee hee...
Storm warnings here on the left coast, too. Forced evacuations because of flash floods in some areas of the Santa Cruz mountains south of the Bay Area - yet Texas, Colorado and some other areas are in drought conditions...

  7. Great minds think alike...yesterday I was out looking at the willows. Ours are progressing. Guess you have heard the forecast...we are to get dumped on tomorrow, and I dread it. Right now it looks pretty crummy outside. Hope it misses you all. Was in Roanoke on Thursday for am appointment with my hematologist and thought of you. Next time I will let you know when I am gonna be there and maybe we can get together for tea or coffee. Love your shot. I am so happy spring is here.

  8. The weeping willow branch tips are a lovely yellow here now. They seem to think it's spring while the rest of the trees are convinced it's still winter!

  9. I do not think winter is ever going to leave us. It is so cold and windy outside here in the country. I got off early because we are going to Richmond for Eloise's 6th birthday so am praying it will be warm and colorful over there. Would love to go to Lewis Ginter on Sunday to shoot the flowers. Love your tree and the sky behind. As you know, this is one of my favorite images for shooting....basically bare branches against the backdrop of the sky. You did really well with this one. Hope you have a warm outdoors weekend. G
