howdy Tanya!--so glad to see you had stopped in. Thanks so much for your kind words! it was an awful storm. So much damage. so much to clean up. The rivers haven't even crested yet..alot of bad flooding to come yet. I loved seeing the old school house and the barn in your recent posts but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE was the washday clothesline!!--I love clotheslines! I think I posted one a couple weeks back. Just wanted to say howdy and we made it out safely and back home and we have power here, so many still dont. How's everybody in your neck of the woods?

What a sunset! how lucky you are to have deer wandering into the garden although I suppose they eat more than just grass!
ReplyDeleteThat house is stunning! It has everything!
Thanks for hosting!
Wow, that house is lovely and EXPENSIVE.
ReplyDeleteFantastic images! Living so close to deer must be wonderful. Your surroundings are a joy to see Tanya.
ReplyDeleteFun post! Loved Horton's view and your lovely visitor and who can resist sunsets! Let's all put our extra funds together and buy that house! WOWZER! Happy Friday and thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and sweet deer. Such a beautiful house!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset pictures!
ReplyDeleteSuper series of randoms Tanya, wish I did have a spare two million, but it would be an apartment in Paris I'd be after ☺ Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, Tanya. The sunset is amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see that deer!
ReplyDeleteA delightful series of photos Tanya. The flowers are lovely against the brick and the window, loved the sunset and the clover, your deer and how I wish I could afford your 9th great grandfather's house. Wonderful bit of family history there. Thank you for sharing with Today's Flowers. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteYour first picture is gorgeous! With the yellow lilies against the bricks and white trim. You caught the deer in mid-step! The house must be spectacular! Who is selling?
ReplyDeleteThat is very cool that you know where your 9th great-grandparents lived! Not many people can say that.
ReplyDeleteYour 9th great-grandfather? That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Tanya, I discovered your blog from another blog linked to a blog hop I enter each week. My name is Janet. I live in Roanoke. Husband and I were born and raised in CA (me in San Jose and he in Piedmont). We too lived in Missouri (KC for four years). Anyhoo, my husband Tom is the photographer. He belongs to a couple of different photo clubs in Roanoke. And I too have a blog (since 2012): The Cat on My Head. The "good" photos on my blog are usually taken by my husband. Just wanted to send you a note as it seems we have some things in common, except I should think from your "about me" info that you are between 20 and 30 years younger than I am. Anyhoo...just wanted to say, "hi."
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet deer shot.
ReplyDeleteA very nice series of shots. Well-composed. I went to the bank to see about getting a loan for the amount you specified. Would you believe they laughed so hard, a teller fell off her stool onto a bank president who was on the floor counting pennies?
ReplyDeleteLove the deer photo....but I must say this:
ReplyDeleteBy golly girl, do you wash windows? The first image with the flower for Denise....the windows...they sparkle!!!
ps...Yay!!! I'm here, getting around to visiting my Blogger buddies! You're on my list of catching up with since my week's absence. I'm so happy I stopped by today.
Wow - property is expensive in Montreal! Too bad great-great...grandpa didn't pass the house down through the generations!
