This month's theme for City Daily Photo is "Photographing the Photographer"...I caught this guy last night at the JV game. Lord Botetourt hosted Blacksburg and won 26-20 in the last few seconds of the game!
This is a cheer dad...he was sitting a row or two down from me snapping pics of the cheerleaders while I snapped pics of the game (and him!).
2)
There's another "photographer"...she's from Blacksburg...I'm jealous because I have to sit in the stands to get my pictures...there's my 82 coming in (Braden)
3)
I figured since it was Willy Nilly and theme day I'd center Willy Nilly around the theme day :) ...there she is again...snap, snap, snap!
4)
Dalton 21 and Braden 82...they play Varsity this year but don't get a lot of play time yet since moving up so their coach knows how much they want to play so he let them play down on JV...on Varsity they are 21 and 12...it's an honor for them to move up to Varsity as a sophmore even if most of it is spent on the side lines!
5)
Dalton catching an interception and getting the ball back...that play turned the game around as we were trailing behind at that point!
So that's my 5 this week friends! I hope you will play along too! Post 5 randoms, link back and visit others!
And don't forget to check out the theme from all over the world by visiting City Daily Photo
Have a great weekend!!

Have a great weekend!!
Great snaps of the snappers! Your boys are so athletic & great players!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting and enjoy your weekend!
Theme Day!!! What a fun idea . . .
ReplyDeleteNice shots for the theme, Tanya, the 1st one is my preferred.
ReplyDeleteFun shots Tanya! I know you are proud of those boys.
ReplyDeleteFun post. Congrats to your boys. Happy Snapping and Happy Friday! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeletePerfect for theme day and they won the game too---YAY!

Great action shots!
ReplyDeleteI guess local media tend to be allowed to get out on the field, as long as they're mindful of where the players are. Excellent choices, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteDalton is a football hero! So cool that you have the pictures! The lady on the field, wonder how she got there? I would think she is from the local paper, but her camera isn't big enough.
ReplyDeleteTook me a second to figure out what a "cheer dad" is! I like the composition and background on that shot.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win! I hadn't thought about it before, but I am sure many of my shots have other photographers in them because of where I tend to be ... I'll have to go take a look. Thanks for hosting Willy Nilly Friday.
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting photos of the photographer! Neat
ReplyDeleteFinally found a link I can use...a day late!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. You still got great shots from the stands. I love that there was a father taking photos of the cheerleaders.
ReplyDeleteA nice selection, Tanya. From now on, just walk down to the sideline and behave like you belong there. "Act like you belong" is a good maxim to live by.
ReplyDeleteHi Tanya,
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Glad to hear they won. Have a great day!
