Not too far from the farmhouse is this old family cemetery…
There weren’t a lot of graves…
I wonder if they lived in the farmhouse at one point…probably…
If you didn’t know the little cemetery was there you would miss it…
Some of the names there are: Watson, Morris, Reed and Carnefix, that’s an unusual name…
As I get this post ready to go I’m saddened by the death of Lisa Marie Presley…I can’t believe it…they have had their share of heartache ❤️
Today I’m grateful for this whole wonderful week I’ve had! I had to use up some vacation time and it was a nice lazy week hanging out with Kane (our new puppy) and we went and had dinner at Christian’s and his fiancé’s house and then last night I took Kane to Ashlyn’s house to play with her puppy! It’s been a good week 🙂

I'd like to see Kane. These old gravesites are sad.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I love wandering through cemeteries. Coincidentally I'll be doing just that tomorrow, and hopefully I'll get some nice images for Colorado Springs Daily Photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great display of various tombstones
ReplyDelete...here, there are a number of "hidden" cemeteries too.
ReplyDeleteI love an old cemetery. I think they are beautiful. Thank you for linking up and yes, show that new puppy!
ReplyDeleteOld cemeteries are interesting for the stories they sometimes tell about the lives of people buried in them.
