The James River, Buchanan, Va. That water looks so cold now. We took canoes down it on the 4th of July, in fact, we put the canoes in right at this very spot!
Do you have photos of the 4th at this spot as well? Fun to compare--I've been participating in a monthly First of the Month meme where you shoot the same place or thing every month--so interesting.
I'm thinking of doing a daily photo in 2012. Bet it's a great exercise.
I think it looks gorgeous...cold, maybe...but still a gorgeous spot.

We've crossed the James River on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It looks like a very scenic river and this spot is beautiful.
