Yesterday I had to drive Christian over to his friend's house for a sleepover (there is no school today) so I took the back road through Catawba. I never mind taking him over there as this is such a scenic drive. Braden and Dalton were getting quite annoyed with me though that I kept stopping for barns. They were in a hurry to get home and play with friends. Every time I'd pull over, I'd get an earful from the backseat ;)

ReplyDeleteYes that is really a beautiful barn. Country road is fun! ^_^
ReplyDeleteRed Barn
I'm glad you don't let the backset sway you from shooting your pictures! :-) Nice barn shot today. I like the setting with the fences too.
ReplyDeleteI love driving the country roads! You found a charming barn, I love those red rust roofs/rooves. It needs some love :)
ReplyDeleteno appreciation for fine barns! :)
ReplyDeleteI would have certainly pulled over to photograph this one. It's a beaut!

This was well worth stopping for...Love the angle with the house in the background.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking barn, I too love driving down country roads!
ReplyDeleteYou are teaching them a life lesson - barns are valuable and need to be photographed for their generation to appreciate when they get older. (good luck with that).
ReplyDeleteAnother one that needs TLC.
ReplyDeleteOf course barn pictures are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteNice barn with beautiful scenery with house in the background. It is NOT the boys when Bud and I are futon the road...it is Bud. I drive him crazy when I yell “Barn Alert”....School starts back tomorrow so guess I need to get to bed. It has been a great break because I have had Montezuma’s Revenge and would have had to stay home anyway. genie
ReplyDeletekids, they still don't know about the good stuff!! mine are grown and gone which = lot's of time for picture taking!!

ReplyDeleteVery nice! Barns are hard to find here in GA, but I have joined Barn Charm a few times. I'm looking forward to following you now. Don't let the grumbling from the backseat make you miss any photo opps!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great barn! Never know what you will find on a country road...this one was worth stopping for!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how you shot this one & that you included the house in the shot, too! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteSorry bout the kids, but I thank you for shooting & sharing them... they got plenty of time to play, but these old barns won't be standing much longer, so we gotta shoot when we can, right! LoL! =)
