Black & White Wednesday

Photobucket

A garage door in Buchanan, Va

Linking up with B&W Wednesdays

Black and White Wednesday

*My pictures are still posting smaller and I am having to manually change some html every time I post now. I didn't change settings so I don't know why it's doing this. Blogger is always changing something on me. I guess I'll need to start uploading from a picture source such as flickr? Is that what you do or do you post it directly from your computer file? I hate having to go through a third party, such a hassle!

  1. So pretty with all those vines - they need to paint their door! So glad you got this shot, tho, and I love the reflections!

  2. Nice shot. I like the looks of this. I'm still uploading to blogger from the computer w/o issue. Do you use picasso? You might try that.

  3. Cool pic- it always amazes me how different things look in black and white. I don't know what to tell you about pictures...I just click mine in draft and then choose the size.

  6. Great texture in the door - the wood grain going different directions is so interesting...and the vine adds so much. I'm thinking an unused garage door??!

  7. I really like your photo of the garage door.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems uploading pictures to Blogger. I wish I could give you some answers, but unfortunately I can't.

  8. Great subject for B and W! I upload several at a time to Picassa web albums and post from there. I think your posted photos are stored there anyway??? You should be able to select your photo in the Editor and choose the size without going to HTML. Good luck.

  9. Hi Tanya. I have the same trouble with uploading photos direct from my laptop. I might hit up Picasso and let you know how i get on.

(So far I load directly from my PC, tribble knock on wood.) Please have a good Wednesday.

  11. Love this gritty photo, Tanya!

As far as photos, if I post from my computer, I always have had to adjust to the x-large size after uploading. Didn't know there was any other way! Lol.

  12. Great textures in this B&W picture!
I upload from the computer and, like Nancy, adjust the size to at least large and sometimes x-large.

  13. Poor you. Blogger can really mess things up for us. Hope you are able to get it all figured out. Maybe you could go on the Blogger question board and ask about what is happening. You might get an answer that would help. Love your shot of the garage door. You did a fine job with the processing.genie

  14. Nice shot. I upload directly from my computer. I haven't had any issues yet, but my fingers are crossed. I also used google + so I can upload directly from my phone.

  15. That is one garage door with LOTS of character. While I do not have any problems uploading my images (from a folder on my computer)on blogger, I do have trouble with formatting my words the way I want. Sorry to hear you are having a hard time. Building character... like that garage door.

  16. Great B&W. I am having issues seeing people's photos on their blogs...they don't all upload. Thankfully no problems with yours right now!

  18. Love love all the different textures in this shot! And I agree that using a third party to post pictures is a hassle. I've never been able to get my pictures large enough in blogger either.

  19. I hate blogger for editing posts. I started using Microsoft Live Writer and I love it! It's way better!!

Great photo . . . BTW . . . don't forget to tell your friends to vote on facebook! Friday thought Saturday at noon!
