A picture a day from around the Roanoke, VA area.
You don't often see just the posts left. I'm guessing it was a wire fence at one time? Beautiful scene!
A romantic landscape there! This scenery reminds me my childhood in Brazil, thanks for sharing this special postcard!hugs and a nice FridayLéia
Why such a beautiful place has to be fenced..?
Pretty picture! Have a great weekend!
Good catch! I know where that's at!
Sort of funny when there are posts, but no fence...
I love this too!!

The posts blend very nicely with the trees.
Nice find Tanya!Kim,USA
just waiting to rot out. nice job, tanya.
A very nice country scene! Happy Friday!!!
Lovely old world feel to your shot. I remember reading with confusion about Labo(u)r Day, Memorial Day and another holiday in my "Let's Go USA" guide first time I went to USA. So now, for now, I am clear which month Memorial Day is in- Have a happy one!
How interesting that the posts are still there!
I guess it would be appropriate to call these lonely posts "leftovers."Empty Horse Corral
I like the texture of the wood too! Enjoy you holiday weekend! :)
I love this photo!Have a fun weekend.
Beautiful! Something so nostalgic about this. Thanks so much for dropping by, happy it led me back here. Enjoy the long weekend!
Looks like a place much to be enjoyed. I shall search for some fences over here. Please have a good weekend.
Yep...it's great texture!
This photo has such a dreamy quality to it. I almost missed the posts as they are such an integral part of the image, they blend in so well. Great shot!
Funny the things we notice while out and about. Love the soft tones of this photo, Tanya. Enjoy your weekend as well.
Wonder what kind of fence linked to these posts, and what it fenced in (or out). Lovely photo.
This scene reminds me of the English countryside in my favorite novel/film "North and South". I can just see Margaret Hale lying in the grass in her poufy dress day dreaming.
Hi! I'm so happy you've stopped by and always enjoy your comments :)
