Blue Ridge Park
Yesterday the boys and I played hookie and we went and saw 42. Ashlyn came along as well since since she's already out of school for the summer. What a great movie that is...definitely recommend!
It's POURING here. Started while we were at the movies yesterday and I don't think it has stopped. The power must have gone out for a little bit over night, clocks are messed up. I can hear thunder.
Linking up with Barn Charm today :)
I hear that is a great movie so we'll probably buy it when it comes out. We never go to the theatre. The barn is in a nice setting and looks really old. Enjoy the rainy day. Pamela
ReplyDeleteAt least the metal roof hasn't been covered yet! Nice old barn!
ReplyDeleteI guess that's a good way to go- being slowly overtaken by nature. Nice capture!
ReplyDeleteNice mellow light in this shot.
ReplyDeletenice roof line!
ReplyDeleteGreat roof and I love the vines growing up the side.
ReplyDeleteI've heard such good things about that movie. Love the barn with all that greenery on it!
ReplyDeleteI think the vines add a lot to the old barn! Haven't seen the movie, but I've heard it's good. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSweet barn, the rain will help green things grow:) I loved 42 too, wonderful movie!
ReplyDeleteThe vines growing on the barn make for such a pretty sight. When is spring going to return. It is so cold an damp here. Miserable. genie
ReplyDeleteLove the photo, sorry about the rain and film recommendation noted. But most of all, I missed you over the last few days. Glad your back :).
ReplyDeleteI hope the barn survived the rain storm?!
ReplyDeletesomething i always wanted my mom to do - but we never did. you go girl!! sounds like a fun day. great barn. all that green. ( :

ReplyDeleteSweet, little barn! We are soaking wet here in KY too.
ReplyDeleteI cherish all the times I went to the movies with my dad. Even after I was married and had kids, Dad and I would take an afternoon or evening and take in a movie.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nostalgic setting--it's like nature is protecting the barn, yet we know what those vines will eventually do to the structure. The roof should last a long while though.
Great find. :>)
Aren't we all tired of the rain? But, a great shot of the barn!
ReplyDeleteSlowly being eaten by greenery it looks like. Gives it an interesting feel. Neat shot.
