February Theme Day - Entry

This was my view yesterday. If you read my post yesterday you would know I had to get my little mini-van, Betsey, (yes, she has a name) serviced. I had to go downtown. I brought a chair and sat out in front with my camera and a book because the weather was perfect! Sunny and 50's! 10 minutes later they were done with my vehicle and off I went! That was FAST!

So anyways, for those that don't know the drill, first of the month is Theme Day for the City Daily Photo Group and the theme for this month is ENTRY. To see other interpretations of the theme, visit CITY DAILY PHOTO :)

  2. Ten minutes! Well that didn't give you much reading time Tanya :) It did give you time for a super 'entry' shot thought!

  4. 10 minutes wow Betsey must have been in good shape. And I love the photo, as I am a sucker for porches, white and brick so a perfect mix and an enjoyable entry shot.

  9. You don't see brick pillars like that on newer homes, just the plastic ornamental ones.

  12. White clapboard and brick made an effective combination. Not one you ever get in France!

  14. Looks like those owners didn't want you peering into their house by entry or window!

  15. Well, Tanya, you just sit right there and fill me in on all of the town's latest gossip!

  16. This reminds me of my grandmother's house when I was a kid. We used to sit on her porch and shell peas from her garden.

  18. Very nice shot! Very evocative. I can't help but think that at other times there may be someone sitting on the chair on that porch watching the world go by.

  19. What a great idea to take your camera. So many people would carry a book to read while waiting on repairs.

I love this porch and the many questions it poses.
