Along Roanoke Blvd, Salem
Yesterday I took the boys and one of their buddies to see the new Transformers movie. It was really good! We all liked it. Mark Wahlberg is so good in it, funny and action-y! The 2 hours and 45 minutes pretty much flew by. On the way home I saw this sign. Pulled in to get a picture and the boys friend says "where are we going?"...the boys "she just wants to get a picture"...lol...they know me too well!

Later, taking their friend home, I snapped a photo for Good Fences...

ReplyDeleteThe 7up sign is great, I really enjoy the old signs.
ReplyDeleteLove the old 7up sign. Glad you stopped to get it!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fine old 7Up sign. Didn't know that 7Up needed parking, but you never know. Good catch.
ReplyDeleteOld fashioned, but still great!
ReplyDeleteI remember those signs, used to see a lot more of them but I guess they got everyone hooked on soda so there isn't a big need for signs. We had some good light like the second one, must be all the moisture in the air that filters the light.
ReplyDeleteI can't even remember ever seeing that 7-Up design.
ReplyDeleteThat sign is very retro! Lol - I think your kids are getting used to your little pit stops :-)
ReplyDeleteI hate all the signs on the road I prefer trees
ReplyDeleteSparkling parking (gosh that even rhymes!) Love the second shot!
ReplyDeleteLove old signs and roads. So much history behind them. Glad you enjoyed the Transformers movie. It'll open here next week.

ReplyDeleteThat's a very old fashioned sign.
ReplyDeleteI love the sign and that a real nice rural shot too. Glad to hear you like the movie. I read a really bad review on it a little while ago and I was wondering whether to go. Now I will :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't see signs like that much anymore. I used to drink 7-up many moons ago.
ReplyDeleteYep, your boys must know you well. :-)
AND - they are STELLAR pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the view.
Your Haymakertown Road photo is nice, Tanya.
