Stopped over at the Heritage Market that I told you about HERE to pick up some bread and lunch meats. Then noticed Happy Mart still had gas for:
Yup, $2.55...then I saw Ashlyn's boyfriend there too..and he told me he had just seen Christian ha, small town living...
So then I took the scenic route home:
Brughs Mill Road..
Today I have my dentist appointment at my new dentist. It's just a cleaning, but still, blah!
Linking with Signs, Signs & Good Fences
I hope to see you back tomorrow for some Willy Nilly fun!

That Brughs Mill Road really is scenic !
ReplyDeleteThe countryside looks lovely and you got a great fence shot. Hope the filling wasn't painful
ReplyDeleteI like that I see people I know when I go to the grocery store or gas station, but I'm not fond of the gossip. Sometimes I miss the anonymity of the city. You sure live in a beautiful area.
ReplyDeleteHow can you miss the first view of the sign, looks like its in the middle of the road. Our gas is creeping back up, $2.69 yesterday.
ReplyDeleteYour scenes are very reminiscent of the Lake District over here... good luck with the dentist!
ReplyDeleteMore than 50 cents cheaper than my last fill up.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling about the dentist, i had a teeth cleaning this week too. I like your gas prices, they have been just as good around here, although last time I filled up we were back to 2,89! Still under three dollars so that's good. Your photos are all lovely, and I'm wondering, did you get any snow yet?
ReplyDeletenot yet! earlier this morning when i checked the weather it shows possible rain/snow mix sunday into monday!
DeleteI hope you get to keep your autumn as long as you can, because it seems once winter makes an appearance here, fall is gone!
Deletewhat a beautiful view home! good luck at the dentist!
ReplyDeleteOh I have to go to the dentist, too.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely pics from your neighborhood, thanks!

Thanks for the small travelog today. Small town livin'. Gotta love it.
ReplyDeleteSome very nice views! The fence may be not so nice, but I bet it is effective...
ReplyDeleteThis was a nice little travel series. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour gas prices are better than ours. Good luck at the dentist!
ReplyDeleteI love the scenic route shot, I may have said this before but if I didn't know any better I'd of thought you lived in the middle southern area of BC Canada :-)...
ReplyDeleteYup I remember when I lived in a small town in Central Africa, couldn't keep a secret there :) I agree about the dentist, blah! but more because of the exorbitant cost.. what's that all about, than the pain :)
ReplyDeleteWow gas at $2.55! It's $2.92 here. Love the scene on your way home!
ReplyDeleteDoes this Mill Road have an actual mill somewhere? We have Mill roads, but often the mill that used to be there is long gone. We do have quite a few mills though. The ones that are open often have shops in them or give tours. What happened to your old dentist and how did you find this one?
ReplyDeleteYippee for that gas price! Love the country fence, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's you and not me going to the dentist...I'm a white knuckle patient! Aren't we glad to see those lower gas prices?!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought that $3.09 was a good price when I filled up yesterday. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteWith those gas prices I could afford to drive over to have a closer look at your gorgeous last photo. Oh dear, I'll need a boat or plane ride too :).
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE small town life! I'd love running into people I know or relatives. The only people we know here except for our own daughter, SIL and grandson, are the people at church. I love them all dearly, but I don't think I've ever run into any of them anywhere, except the pastor once at Walmart two years ago! I'm from a small town, and miss that feeling of community!
ReplyDeleteWow lucky you with $2.55 for gas, the cheapest it's been here is, $3.04.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd like small town life where everyone seems to know everyone's business. - Neat fence find, looks as if the mailbox or paper box got knocked over.
Your gas is a lot cheaper than ours in FL! Love taking the scenic route. What a neat photo along the road! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get petrol there! :-) I'd enjoy the road so much too!
ReplyDeleteI like that scenic route!
ReplyDeleteOur fuel prices are dropping too, but it's done in litres.
Beautiful scene with that fence!
ReplyDeletesee you tomorrow. i hope the dentist is at least nice. i always tell my dentist i like you as a person but i hate your profession. it really is a mean job, you have to be a bit hateful to do that silliness. you know??!! picking & drilling, etc. ( :
ReplyDeleteLove that road scene. Hope the dentist visit went OK!
ReplyDeleteLove that last shot. Our gas is that low too.
ReplyDeleteI'd say living in a small town has its perks! I hope the dental appointment went well for you. (I love getting my cleanings...but I'm a weirdo!)
ReplyDeleteThe scenic route is always best!
ReplyDeleteI like scenic routes too! Yours looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteBrughs Mill Road looks like a nice place to linger.
ReplyDeleteLove the scenery. I know what you mean about dental visits.
ReplyDeleteDentist??? Did you mention a dentist?? YOU ARE BRAVE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI started the bunny drawing . . but have not, yet - brought out the paints . . thanks for asking . . AND - thank you for taking care of yourself. -g-
