The sculptures were created by Mimi Babe Harris and Donna Essig in 2004 as a tribute to each of our seven sister cities, and are part of the City of Roanoke's public art collection.

ReplyDeleteCool! I had no clue about Saint-Lô! The cows are pretty much local of Normandy but the headdress looks more like Breton than Norman to me! :-)
