It's a magnificent looking building, seen at its best with that blue sky and white clouds!
ReplyDeleteUniquely H'burg. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it and your top commentor is right beautiful with the white clouds and blue skies. Hug B
ReplyDeleteIs this the same rock all over the VA Tech campus? Looks it. Fine angled image of the courthouse.
ReplyDeletevt uses limestone...they look very similar and i don't know what the differences are...vt has their own quarry https://www.vt.edu/about/traditions/hokie-stone.html
DeleteAn old-fashioned and impressive building!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous building. So many of these old courthouses have been torn down - like here in Ocala. Which is a shame. There's a beauty still standing near us in Inverness, Florida, though.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the drama that goes on in them it's amazing how attractive a lot of old courthouses are Tanya, ours here is lovely too. Not that I'm complaining :)

ReplyDeleteIt is pretty! I like the clock in the tower.
ReplyDeleteThis is a familiar looking building that I have seen on trips around America. Nice strong building so suitable for a courthouse. Like your top shot.
ReplyDeleteIt is an imposing building for the important work that goes within it.
ReplyDeleteNeat old building. The school Coleen attends has similar brick work.
