The Homeplace . 4968 Catawba Valley Dr . Catawba
Pulling into The Homeplace for dinner on Sunday. So cold and rainy out. We had the 3 meats, roast beef, fried chicken & ham. It's delivered to your table family style with mashed potatoes, gravy, cole slaw, green beans, pinto beans and biscuits. Cobbler for dessert, but that had to go home with us, no room! Everything was so yummy! The restaurant is an old 1907 farmhouse, it's just beautiful! For more on The Homeplace, visit their Facebook page HERE & I'm linking with Mersad's Through My Lens

ReplyDeleteSounds like my kinda place!
ReplyDeleteLove that image road, trees, rain. It all works.
ReplyDeleteI don't even mind waiting on the porch for a meal.
ReplyDeleteBest,

The fog in the shot adds a lot to it. Would love to drive down and explore the place.

This is my favorite spot to eat and for hikers from the AT, too. I love the way they give you small portions of each thing and then bring you more if you want it. There is so little waste that way. When is the rain and fog gonna vamoose. I am sososo tired of it. This is a really nice shot of the road up to the restaurant.
ReplyDeletePerfect weather for a Sunday dinner!
ReplyDeleteLove this view!
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific scene! The restaurant is the kind of place I would like.
ReplyDeleteHmm, looks like you're getting a little more rain than we are here.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so delicious, and it reminds me of the family style meals in Amish Country in Illinois.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound delicious, and I like the mood of the shot.
