Cruising along on Sunday's drive. This is the way my daughter Ashlyn gets to her boyfriend's house, also known as her second home. I didn't know of this backway and she was correct, it's my kind of road! I could live here, if only my kids wouldn't complain about changing schools ;)
Also, if you are interested in this sort of thing, want to share a little genealogy with you! My husband's ancestor, Daniel Cloud fought at The Alamo. A friend of mine was just there over the weekend and brought a pamphlet home to me with a quote from Daniel Cloud! You can see it HERE on my genealogy blog! How exciting!

ReplyDeletewe just visited the Alamo - i know this totally has nothing to do with what i am going to tell ya ..but if you ever visited be prepared to not be allowed to take pics inside the ALAMO ... such a letdown for me ... i was super sad over that ... ruined my whole trip there. GRR .. me not happy about that. sad face. ) :
