or, LONELY...this is one of my most fave-O-rite houses in the area. Don't you just love that stonework? I want to move in. It always looks vacant but I notice a truck parked there. This sits near Greenridge, not too far from us and bt-dubs, Greenridge has an awesome gym and pool. Love to take the boys to the indoor pool during the cold winter months! Any-who, back to the house...isn't she a beauty? I wonder how old it is. I couldn't find any info. I would love to know its history!

ReplyDeleteGreat shot and great idea for L! I must get a little more creative on my choices to go with the letters...
ReplyDeleteThe stone work is very beautiful. Really love the colours in this photo, something about it makes it look so charming!
ReplyDeleteI could see myself living here. That facade is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen that house.

ReplyDeleteYes indeed that is a lovely house.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the local library has some information about it's history.
If I were you I might just go knock upon the door and ask if it would be alright to take a couple of photos of their out buildings and then ask after the history of the place...you might be surprised how much people love to talk but no one ever asked them a question!
Stone houses in my college town of New Paltz, NY.
ReplyDeleteROG, ABCW
It is indeed a beautiful old house!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look too old what with the straight chimney with no firebox on the second floor.
ReplyDeleteEverytime we go to Greenridge for something, I always look at that house and wonder about it. I always thought it vacant as well.
ReplyDeleteI can understand why it's one of your favorites – I love the stonework, too!
ReplyDeleteYes, she is a beauty! Love the stonework. I could live there.
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a few stone houses in our area, although they are mostly fairly small. But they look inviting, regardless of t he size.
ReplyDeleteYes, a good picture, excellent stone house !
ReplyDeleteWell, just screw up some courage and go up to the door and knock! You won't know if the owner will sell it until you ask.
