...continued from yesterday...
Here we are getting an in-depth tour on the fine art of beer making by the Brewmaster himself, Frank Moeller. My husband had about a gazillion questions and he patiently answered each one, in great detail! Very nice people at the Flying Mouse.

Collage:
1) Look how cool the outside area is...with a fire pit! Sit outside and listen to live music...which we plan on doing Saturday!
2) Kegs waiting to be filled
3) Some cute redheads at the bar ;) Yes, the Mouse is family friendly!
And....(click on photo to enlarge)....there's a beer waiting for Bartleby! These guys think of everything!

They have a great name and an awesome concept. Looks like they are doing everything right!
ReplyDeleteIt must have been really interesting!
ReplyDeleteYou mean questions like "when do we get samples?"
ReplyDeleteI need to try the one near us, Chaos Mountain though I am used to cheap beer now, they might throw me out of the place if I told them what I buy.
ReplyDeleteIs there a beer review in the works? :-)
ReplyDeleteI ran a race last year sponsored by a micro brewery. Pretty neat, they also used the area for cross fit.
ReplyDeleteI know this is your Ruby Tuesday Too post, but I just can't resist saying that I despise tip jars! Waiters and waitresses deserve to be tipped individually. They shouldn't have to share their tips with anyone!
ReplyDeleteReddish Cactus Blossom
what a neat place and great founders, too.
ReplyDeleteThis place reminds me of a relatively small local winery we visited a few months ago. I like the warm and friendly atmosphere. Will it be warm enough to sit around the fire pit on Saturday. I guess the heat will be sufficient. And live music always helps.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a fun place to tour. Thanks for the tour. MB
ReplyDeleteThe equipment's fascinating!
ReplyDeleteCool! I've never visited a brewery...
ReplyDeleteok, where is the "Flying Mouse"? i would love to see a flying mouse. that would be something for the books & my camera too!! ha. ha!!
ReplyDeletei am so wondering? wonder how they came up with the name? ( :
Terrific! You got to go on a tour...perfect, and got to sample too (even more perfect.)
ReplyDeleteThis would be a place I would enjoy having a tour. I love finding out about these places. Thanks Tanya!
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a brewery tour. I'd bet it'd be fun!
ReplyDeleteThose cute redheads seem mighty interested in the brewing process too!
ReplyDeleteNice behind the scenes shots.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a bar unless there's a redhead.
ReplyDeleteI love the red concrete (?) floor inside the brewery. The whole place looks so clean & nicely designed. I bet the beer tastes real good too.
ReplyDeleteForget the internet, digital cameras and mobile phones, micro-brewerys are the best think to happen in the last 10 years!!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
If I'm ever in your area, I am definitely taking this tour. What fun!
ReplyDeleteHa. Love the redheads at the bar!
