Spotted this guy in Jamestown. He got tired of me stalking him and then flew onto the dumpster. A "real" Rubbish Tuesday post! Linking with Roan's Rubbish Tuesday

Great spot, hope he found something to eat!
ReplyDeleteThat is rubbish!!
ReplyDeleteNice of it to pose for you.
ReplyDeleteFor once I'll keep my lousy pigeons and squeaking gulls!
ReplyDeletei think the black vultures are neat looking. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like vultures...you got some good photos of him.
ReplyDeleteNot one of my favorite birds, but you captured this one in all his glory.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of one of nature's clean-up crew :)
ReplyDeleteWell, well.. wonder what he was after... they're a little creepy looking :) nice capture there Tanya.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of these in Central and South America, didn't know one could find them up north, where you are.
ReplyDeleteVultures are just about everywhere, now. We only have the turkey vultures up here in the Great Lakes, but we see both across the southern states. Cool!
ReplyDeleteLOVELY! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteYep...he knew he would be featured in Rubbish Tuesday and went straight for the dumpster! :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one 'for real', cool zooming in!
ReplyDeleteWeird looking guy (gal?). Maybe he didn't want you to watch him eat !!
ReplyDeleteThat is probably the ugliest bird ever. But great picture of him.
ReplyDeleteOh my! He looks like something that E.A. Poe would write about. I know they have their place in the eco system, but still the bare heads creep me out. Because we all know WHY they are bare...
ReplyDeleteThey are such unique-looking creatures!
ReplyDeleteyou got real nice photos . . handsome fellow, really . . . we don't see them very often . . .
ReplyDeleteThat's a good portrait of him on the dumpster.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot on the dumpster! He was probably looking for lunch. :(
ReplyDeleteThey have a reputation for looking ugly, but I rather like them.
ReplyDeleteThey do hang around at unsavory places. I do like seeing them, however.
