A very fine looking facade with so much going on at the top - strange that its asymmetric though...
ReplyDeleteThat is weird right?!
DeleteThat's too bad, it would be interesting to know what it was originally built for.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful architecture. Hey, I never heard back from you if you are familiar with Black Dog Salvage and the TV show Salvage Dawgs.
ReplyDeleteMeant to tell you I enjoyed your last comment! Yes, we are hoping there is a wonderful church home waiting for us. How funny they are opening a brewery there in Roanoke too. If we'd done what we originally planned, you and I would be "neighbors" but alas, God sometimes has other things in store for us! :-) We are happy to be going to be close to the kids again, and get to explore this wonderful new area. A little concerned about the snow right now...pray for our safe journey!
ReplyDeleteI like the intricate brickwork, and beautiful blue sky!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! But it seems so lost -
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't find much on this building on line? Nothing odd about that, it happens all the time. Tanya, thanks for sharing this beauty, I hope that you have something else up you sleeve.
ReplyDeleteThe detail of the architecture is so pretty! Vintage is all that matters....
ReplyDeleteIt is an interesting building. The top looks like it was a replacement but probably not. Regardless, it is a very attractive building.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the buildings in Staunton!
ReplyDeleteLooking up paid off here. I really enjoy looking at the top floors of buildings. This one is very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe architecture is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe details at the top are awesome!
ReplyDeleteNice detail on this building. You don't find that on modern buildings.
ReplyDeleteInteresting architecture and the light is great!
ReplyDeleteThat facade is very impressive, especially at the top. It appears to claim to be the Isberry Building...Isberry probably the name of a local VIP?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, Tanya. They are much appreciated.
