Norfolk Avenue . Roanoke
This awesome building houses an architectural/engineering design firm...makes sense right? In trying to find info on it I did learn that this firm is responsible for so much in the Roanoke area alone! They've had quite a successful run!

I find it interesting that they were "established" after I was! This building no doubt predates 1947. Tanya, thanks for being here today, enjoy the season and please stop back again.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting building..I really like the style and the round windows. Cool find!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty building... and the name Mattern sounds German (we have Matterns in our town too)
ReplyDeleteHave a happy time
Wow!! It looks almost Egyptian.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting design. Makes me wonder how old it is.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful building!
ReplyDeleteCool building. It has a feeling kind of like Dutch architecture.
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat building! Neat as in cool but also as in orderly!
ReplyDeleteTanya, nice example of a gambrel roof. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThe roof strangely reminds me of lego blocks!
