Willy Nilly Friday 5 No. 142

1)
Wednesday the boys had a game in Albermarle County...they played West Albermarle High School...the games are usually on Thursday's but had to be changed to Wednesday for some reason...of course it was a cold and rainy day...rained the whole 90 minutes it took me to get there...Dalton's girlfriend Kaile rode with me! (that's Dalton catching an interception)

2)
It didn't rain very heavily, just a constant annoying drizzle...then about half time it was like someone turned on a light and the rain stopped! The sky was such a pretty color, and bright!

3)
Hey Tanya, the game is straight ahead of you...(the sky and mountains were so pretty I couldn't stop looking!)

4)
Then the fog started to roll in and made it look so cool! (Dalton 21 and Braden 23...when they play on JV they don't have their regular numbers of 12 and 21 since they are technically on Varsity and never picked JV jerseys so they grab what's available on game day haha)

5)
Final score...Lord Botetourt Cavaliers for the win!

That's my 5 this week and I hope you will play along too! Post 5 randoms, link back and visit others as time allows (something I've been so short of lately, sorry!) Have a super weekend friends!

  3. Great shots!

I recall one of our Grey Cup games way back, must have been the fifties or sixties, was delayed halfway through because of fog.

  4. Great captured weather caprices! My absolute favorite is #4 - what a mood!
By the way: my love got just his ancestor DNA-Test, that is really an interesting matter...
I'm back, still not as a full-time blogger, but I try to make a post now and then.
    Enjoy your weekend

  5. That's a fine shot of your son making the interception. Glad the rain stopped and that things cooled down. Fun times!

  9. Beautiful skies! How odd it must be to play in the fog.
